AMATUS HEALTH COO MICHAEL SILBERMAN SPEAKS
AT GRANITE UNITED WAY’S ‘WORKING BETTER TOGETHER’ MEETING
SILBERMAN ADDRESSED COMMUNITY STAKEHOLDERS ABOUT RE-OPENING THE FRIENDSHIP HOUSE AS NEW HAMPSHIRE DETOX CENTER UNDER AMATUS’ MANAGEMENT
Bethlehem, NH April 28, 2021 — Amatus Health COO Michael Silberman was the guest speaker at the Granite United Way’s April Working Better Together meeting.
Silberman introduced community stakeholders to members of the Amatus team who will be working closely with the detox center, as well as answered questions regarding insurance policies, access to treatment, therapeutic modalities, business sustainability, staffing, referral systems, and more.
“Our goal is to break down the barrier of admission so people can get the help when they need it, regardless of their insurance,” Silberman said during the meeting. “When clinically appropriate, we want to take anyone we can, and we do so by offering 24/7 admissions.”
Amatus has been part of the New Hampshire recovery community for two years. They own and operate two outpatient centers, Blueprint Recovery Center in Concord and Bonfire Behavioral Health in the Seacoast area.
By adding Friendship House, Silberman said, Amatus will now offer the full continuum of addiction-related care – approximately 100 days of treatment encompassing medical detox through outpatient services – to those in New Hampshire.
Silberman estimated that the 36-bed New Hampshire Detox Center will be staffed and ready to take patients on June 1; plans for future construction should allow the facility to grow to include 44 beds.
New Hampshire Detox is one of 17 TruHealing Centers, subsidiaries of Amatus Health, a growing behavioral healthcare system headquartered in Owings Mills, MD. TruHealing Centers facilities operate in seven states – Florida, Georgia, Maryland, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, and Texas – and offer the full continuum of addiction-related care.
